CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 76.73% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

Equity CFDs

Equity CFDs are contracts for difference (CFDs), which have a stock as underlying. Trading in equity CFDs allows a targeted exposure to a stock and thus allows to speculate on both sides of the price development of a stock.

Since CFDs trade on margin - i.e. have a leverage effect - equity CFDs allow the investor to work capital-efficiently with simultaneous exposure to a specific value and a specific price direction.

Advantages of Equity CFDs

Leverage:
Equity CFDs allow trading on leverage. For example, if you only need to deposit 20% of the capital to take the position, this allows for capital efficient trading.

Low costs:
There are no commissions in trading stocks CFDs, as is common with a normal broker.

Flexibility:
You can go long or short, that is, bet on rising or falling prices. In regular stock trading, investors can only bet on rising prices. Many brokers do not allow so-called "Short-Selling".

There is immediately the possibility to trade also foreign shares. No further stock exchange access is required.
