Account transfer
You have the option of transferring your securities from your previous bank or online broker to FXFlat. You can use the "securities search" to check whether the securities you want to transfer are also tradable at FXFlat. Alternatively, you can send us a list of your securities and we will check this for you.
In order to transfer a securities account to FXFlat, you must already have opened an FXFlat brokerage account and can then enter the position transfer in the account management under "Transfer & Payments".
To speed up the process, please provide all information about your current depositary bank in advance.

Instructions for a Deposit Transfer
Follow the path "Transfer & Pay" and then "Transfer Positions" in the Account Management.
Now please select "Incoming" under "Type of transaction". Should already be pre-selected.
In the next step, select "Basic FOP Transfer" as method.
In the "Broker Instructions" you select the name of the previous bank or broker. Enter the account number and the account title as well as contact information of the previous broker.
If you do not have a personal contact person at your previous broker, simply enter the main address or the general contact details of the broker. If your previous broker is not on the list of brokers, please contact customer service.
Now save all of your details by setting the "Visible broker instruction" to "YES". Then click on "NEXT" to enter your securities on the next page.
The process is completed with your electronic signature. You will now see a summary of your entries. Please print out this overview or save it as a PDF and then send this overview to your previous broker or bank in order to be able to transfer the positions.

Important Information about the Transfer
Your securities cannot be accessed during the deposit transfer.
Securities to be transferred must be tradable on FXFlat. Use the securities search to check tradability. If you find the value in the search, it is tradable.
FXFlat does not charge any fees when transferring securities.
A transfer can only be carried out without a change of ownership.
A physical transfer of securities (securities in paper form) is not possible.
Loss account balances are not transferred during the transfer.
Penny sticks or pink sheets cannot be transferred
Initial Price Manual Adjustments
You can maintain your acquisition prices yourself after the deposit transfer, if your previous broker has not supplied the data.
In the account management, please select the path "Reports & Taxes, Position Transfer" under the item "Cost basis" and add the relevant rates there.
