From 01.11.2021, private and professional customers who have the MetaTrader account will enjoy additional free deposit protection of up to 500,000 euros. Deposit protection at FXFlat is basically based on three pillars. One of them is segregated accounts: Accounts are segregated from company assets so that customer deposits remain independent of the broker. In addition, reserve accounts managed by FXFlat ensure sufficient liquidity. Another pillar is the legal deposit insurance: FXFlat is a member of the Entschädigungsreinrichtung der Wertpapierhandelsunternehmen (EdW); as a result, customers are entitled to compensation of up to 90 percent of the claim.
