Change in Margin Requirements for JPY Pairs

Dear Customers,

Due to a potential intervention by the Bank of Japan (BOJ) in the Yen (JPY) currency pair, increased volatility is expected in JPY currency pairs.

In light of this, there will be a margin increase at the start of trading on Sunday, October 1st, 2023. The margin requirement for JPY pairs will change from 0.5% to 2%. The weekend margin will not be affected by this.

Important: This change only applies to Professional accounts.

If you have open positions in JPY pairs during this time, your margin requirement will increase. Please ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to keep these positions open.
