Switch to Winter Time 2024: Trading Hours Update

Dear Clients,

On Sunday, October 27, 2024, Germany will switch to winter time – one week before the time change in the USA.

During this week (October 28, 2024 - November 1, 2024), trading in the Forex and US markets will open and close one hour earlier than usual.

Please note the following adjusted trading hours:

• Trading start: Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 10:00 PM CET
• Trading end: Friday, November 1, 2024, at 10:00 PM CET
• Trading start: Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 11:00 PM CET

On Friday, November 3, 2024, due to the time change and shortened trading hours, the switch to weekend margin for "Professional" accounts and the calculation of Value at Risk will take place at 8:00 PM CET.

Please also note the following special considerations during this week:

• SWAPS will be booked at 10:00 PM CET.
• Dividends will be booked at 11:00 PM CET.
• The "Close-only" rule for US dividend payments will apply as early as 8:30 PM CET.
• The trading start in SPOT Forex will already occur at 11:00 PM CET.
• Open positions in SPOT Forex must be closed by 9:00 PM CET.
• The new trading day in DE40/DE40mini will begin at 11:00 PM CET.
• The switch to Futures Overnight Margin for US futures will occur at 8:45 PM CET, and for EUREX as usual at 9:45 PM CET.
• The switch to Futures Intraday Margin will occur at 7:45 AM CET.
